I have around 20 years‘ experience in PR and journalism in the bank. Or on the clock – depending on how you see it. During this time, I have advised Messe Frankfurt, and I worked as a Senior PR Manager at the media group ProSiebenSat.1 and as Communications Director at McDonald House Charities. As a journalist, I have written for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, the business magazines HORIZONT and W&V, and the trade fair magazine m+a report. I have kept two things from these years of experience: good contacts who open many doors. And great respect for my colleagues‘ work.
For the past ten years, I have been a freelance communications consultant and author. My clients are in the digital sector, the automotive industries and the areas of consulting and auditing. New areas are always welcome.
Compared to working with a traditional PR agency, my clients value the fact that I look after them personally at all times. I do not hand any issues over to junior managers or let interns phone the media. From the PR concept to the operational implementation of our shared ideas, I do everything myself. That pays off for companies who are interested in the result. You will get prettier PowerPoint presentations from the agencies; that’s for sure.
But what can you expect from me? If you like, I can provide a full service or just one element of your PR communications that you would like to outsource. I can advise you on the strategic alignment of your communications. I work with you to identify communicable content and suggest the media that would be best suited for your story. It goes without saying that I write your press release and place the content in the media myself. I can arrange interviews for you, prepare you for them and am happy to accompany you to your meeting with the journalists. And what if you don’t have any relevant messages to reach your target audience? Then we’ll create the content together.
